In late 2018 Gelka teamed up with Forteba , an electronic synth inspired music producer. He is known for his deep electronic and melodic atmospheric LPs through the legendary German Plastic City and Kompakt. His 400 single and remix releases on Beatport are a complex musical experience, including a downtempo album with Gelka in 2021. The two Hungarian producers invited Sam Brookes the Mercury Prize-nominated alt-folk singer from the UK, as a lead singer of the forthcoming LP. This was after Sam and Gelka released a beautifully melodic downtempo production Open as a single through the iconic chillout label, Café del Mar, which has reached over 3 million streams on Spotify.
