Jade Aux is a South African alternative country singer-songwriter, who experiments with her natural intuition to the sound in her debut EP, 'Petrichor' released in early 2018.
She colours her genre with honey vocals and electric guitar.

She has been led by music since her childhood, learning to play the guitar at age ten, writing her first song at age twelve and understanding production at age fifteen. After countless covers posted on Soundcloud during her high-school years, she released two closet-recorded singles, '2:34am' in 2013 and 'Oh, Uh, Hi' in 2014.
'Petrichor' is Jade Aux’s first official release as an independent artist. The EP was inspired by her desire to create access to her music she’d been performing live over the two previous years; to allow fans to develop personal relationships with them in their own time.
Being a sonically and visually creative talent, Jade is also studying a degree in design set to graduate in 2019. The relationship her two creative spheres has is mutually beneficial; fueling each other and resultantly allowing her to experiment with intriguing outcomes. She references this symbiosis in her song, 'Décor', where she questions the listener, "You want to make me choose between the paintbrush and the tune?"
