In 2010 she released Red Leader Dream, an album inspired by the first Star Wars trilogy.
After intensive touring in Europe with the first four albums, Kinert rested her solo career in 2011 and went back to school. To study film and art. During this time she started writing songs with danish producer Tomas Barfod. A collaboration that has resulted in songs like November Skies, Pulsing and Busy Baby to name a few.
In 2015 Nina Kinert made a modest but heartfelt return to her solo music by going by the moniker Nina K with the release of On Ice - an album dealing with death and love. On Ice was nominated for a Swedish grammy.
