Lara de Belder's passion for an eclectic range of musical genres has influenced her as a writer of original material fusing pop with elements of jazz, blues, funk, soul, RnB, folk and electronic dance styles, debuting in 2021. Turn It Over was released in May 2021 with producer Joe Rodwell. Overtime will be released 24/09/21. Influences include artists such as Celeste, Melody Gardot, Jacob Collier, Erykah Badu, Jamiroquai, Lizzo, Robyn, Shura, Liane Carroll, Jamie Cullum, Amy Winehouse and Anaïs Mitchell.
 
 Originally from North Yorkshire, London-based Singer, Songwriter, Actor and Musical Director Lara de Belder studied Music at the University of Leeds before training in Musical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music in London. She has since worked as a performer and creator in theatre, film and concert, and is the co-writer and creator of new British comedy musical, Bird Brigade, alongside Luka Antony Bjelis, which was long-listed for the Stiles and Drewe Mentorship Award 2021. 
 
 Songwriting collaborations with other artists and producers include Sony AMG-signed upcoming artist, EnEyeCee, with whom she is also a backing vocalist, and EDM producers METTA and B4N4N4 G4NG. Credits include Sky One’s Sing: Ultimate A Cappella, Channel 5’s Comedy Bigmouths, Edinburgh Jazz Festival, Derry Jazz Festival, Galway Jazz Festival, The Jazz Cafe (Camden), Crazy Coqs, The Other Palace, Above The Arts, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Pride In London, Berlin, Sitges and the Channel Islands.
