Trumpet player and multitalent Rik Mol set to release his latest album ‘Infinite Mirrors’ October 12th!

Trumpet player, composer, bandleader, studio musician, you name it! Rik Mol can do it all and by integrating these roles, continues to develop himself. Since encountering the trumpet at the early age of 8 years old, he has had the honour of playing with a multitude of esteemed artists. From Chaka Khan, Quincy Jones and Gregory Porter to performances with the horn section The Jayhorns and the renowned Metropole Orchestra. As of now he has multiple musical awards in his name, can be heard on over 95 (!) albums and as a trumpet player, is often asked for contributions to movie soundtracks and commercials. “There are not many music genres that I don’t connect with”, Mol states, who as a result has played in a wide range of locations. From deep within the Dutch lowlands to the far east. For his 3rd studio album he chose a suiting title as his drive is clearly infinite.

The Blame feat. Brent Carter is the second single of 'Infinite Mirrors vol.1' A highlight of his dynamic career was a unique collaboration. “It was a dream of mine to work with one of my childhood heroes and create a song together...” As a teenager Rik was a big fan of the American soul band ‘Tower of Power’ with lead singer Brent Carter. “If anyone had told me when I was sixteen that I would end up recording with Brent, I would have told them they were lying!” Check out The Blame on Spotify.
