Defiantly straddling the boundaries between Pop, Rock and Indie; Max and Ryan of Worcester based two-piece The Fidgets carve their own quirky and anarchic path through pop music in 2018.
With a BBC Track Of The Week, two years of festival appearances, hundreds of gigs and a loyal live following under their belt, the boys have ditched the status quo and abandoned the cliché of the radio-friendly single (much to the annoyance of their management) in favour of a completely new musical project. Their brand new release format – the ‘episode’ – a conceptual cross-over of Music and TV, was built out of Max and Ryan’s desire to tell the individual stories of their lives. Each episode consists of two songs, one written and sung by each member, woven into a unity by Beatlesque harmonies and a musical tightness that only comes from years of live experience. Fans of McFly, Bowling For Soup, Hudson Taylor and They Might Be Giants can get their hands on Episode One from Friday, 27th July through Spotify and all other major platforms to hear the beginning of The Fidgets new story.
