Lindsey and Pittman met at a camp in KY back in 2013. Fast forward two years and that fateful friendship developed into a partnership which eventually came to be known as ‘ISAAC’. The pair first officially took to the road in 2015 partnering with Student Life Camps as Worship Leaders.
The name ISAAC comes from Genesis 22. As Abraham obediently obeys the call to sacrifice his only son, Isaac, we see the first mention of worship in the scriptures. That worship comes as a response to obedience. Abraham was obedient to the Lord’s call, even to the point of giving up the very one he called “son.”
To ISAAC, Worship isn’t music. It is a lifestyle of obedience. They desire for that same sacrificial obedience to become their lifestyle: both on the stage and off. Even in the music they write, their prayer is that a lifestyle of obedience infiltrates every lyric. This is how they live out the Great Commission. A lifestyle of obedience with music as their tool.
