Their sound is meant to blend elements of the best band you’d hear in the back of a smokey blues bar with the infectious alt rock melodies that 90s movies have gotten stuck in our heads since Comedy Central starting airing Van Wilder; a new genre frontman Jac Carson coined as “alt-blues”. Driven by what’s either a burning desire to be great or a greatly misplaced sense of his own ability, this Irish-eyed self described “all around nice guy” appears determined to carve out a name for himself as a diverse talent and a known commodity.
Determined, Jac has spent time cultivating a reputation as a charismatic showman, smooth blues player, and an ever present piece of his city’s local music scene; from playing dives that had never previously had music to more established venues in the city, Jac with No K would be nothing without recent mainstays Nathan Ezzo (Keyboards, Vocals), and your girlfriend's favorite member, Miles Taylor (Drums). Though the band often features a rotating cast of musicians to help highlight Philly's Finest.
Originally a guitarist, Jac has spent his career playing with up and coming artists such as John Wilcox and Brodie Holifield (November Blue), Nate Cross (Ugly Blondes), Vinnie Paolizzi, Alex Saddic (The GoAround), Archpalatine, The Tisburys, and former Philly indie rockers Saint Wilde.
