A self-titled E.P., recorded with producers Eric Arena (A Day To Remember, All That Remains) and Geoff Rockwell (Forever the Sickest Kids, Memphis May Fire) would follow in 2013, further cementing their status as a band to watch.
As a result, at the beginning of 2015 Cleveland, Ohio based record label Standby Records would take interest in the band and ultimately sign Light the Fire and release their first full-length album Lost at Sea on May 26. Lost at Sea, in its first week of release would sky rocket all the way to #3 on the iTunes metal charts alongside the likes of In This Moment and August Burns Red.
On Sept 9, 2016 LTF released their sophomore full length titled “Ascension” via Standby Records. “Ascension” also went on to chart #35 on the iTunes Rock Charts and #182 on the Billboard Independent Charts.
2017 would see a lineup change from LTF, with guitarist Seth Davis stepping up to the lead vocalist position and the addition of new guitar player/backup vocalist Trey Hawkins. The new lineup would immediately release a new single and music video for The Void which has been well received logging over 350,000 streams and 30,000 views on Spotify and YouTube respectively. Light the Fire is currently recording their third full length album set to be released in 2018 via Standby records.
