Shortly after the foundation the orchestra recorded their first EP: ”Having A Pretty Long Band Name We Decided To Take A Short One For This EP But Damn! It Didn’t Work Out”. After many live shows, including the Rototom Sunsplash Festival in Udine, the group published their first single “Don’t Worry, Be Happy”. In 2009, the album “Grown” and the single “Feet They Hardly Touch the Ground” were released at Rookie Records. With this single the band managed to get airplays on several popular German music stations. In 2010, the band played an opening gig at the famous Taubertal Festival. In 2011 the second studio album ”Hinterland” was released with the first tour around Germany. More than 40 concerts were played that year including the anti-nuclear demonstration at the Odeonsplatz in Munich with more than 30,000 listeners. In the late summer 2012 the EP “Tainted Love” was presented to the audience. From 2013 to 2016 the Sensational Skydrunk Heartbeat Orchestra dedicated its time to their third album, which was recorded at Klangwasser studios. In January 2017 the third album King and Queen was released on the indie label Milkyhilly Music.
