Lady Dang, known as Kyme to her friends and loved ones, has been writing since she was a little girl.
Those words weren’t set to melody until her late teens, when a chance encounter with a female MC named Melody, encouraged her to perform in front of 5000 people for the 1st time. Forming a group and catching the buzz, they were signed a few years later. Entangled with the wrong people, and devastated by the industry, that was the end of music, or so she thought. Lady Dang credits her faith for bringing her back into music after 12 years of silence. Now after 3 years of experimenting, a Christmas song, an EP, and a couple singles under Kyme, her latest single, Keep On It, and music video, has struck a chord, scratching the surface of her sound. An urban R&B, psychedelic soul, and alternative hip hop anthem, Keep On It, rebrands Kyme as Lady Dang. With more genre blending goodies to come, this is just the beginning of her storytelling through music, performance, & visual art.
