Formed in 2019, Bristol-based five-piece Stay Lunar have combined their individual influences to fuse a fun indie/pop sound with dreamy and dark elements.
"We want to make music that makes people feel something, but simultaneously want to dance" - states singer/songwriter Harry Leigh, who writes as honestly as possible to capture emotion, which is prevalent throughout their songs.
Stay Lunar are comprised of Harry Leigh (vocals + guitar), George Coggan (guitar), Charlie Skeates (drums), James Rowland (bass) and Tom Caton (synth/keys).
In May 2019, the boys ignited their live performance flame by supporting Liverpool band SPINN in Bristol. Since then, they've gone on to perform headline shows in Bristol, Swindon and London, including further support slots with the likes of Little Comets, Larkins, Only The Poets and CLEWS, with more to announce.
"A perfect blend between The Smiths and Foals, but with enough attitude to sound fresh as anything." - Fred Bambidge, It's All Indie.
Earlier in the year, Stay Lunar teamed up with Sugar House, who produced their debut single 'Brainshake', which went on to receive support from Shell Zenner of Amazing Radio, as well as gaining a place on Spotify's 'Hot New Bands' playlist. Their infectious new single 'Catch Up' was released in November 2019, and with two more singles set to be released in early 2020 it doesn't look like their momentum will be slowing down anytime soon.
