The two founding members and primary songwriters of Treehouse Sanctum are Sam Rymer (vocals, guitar) and Danya Lynn Uptegrove (vocals, keys). Formed in 2011 after a house jam session, the band expanded in 2013 to include Andrew Horwath (drums, percussion, keys). The band went on to release their debut album, Shake the Shadow, in 2014. Expanding to include Jeremy Gleason (lead guitar), Dewayne Rymer (trumpet, keys) and Ben Slaughter (bass) in 2015.
