Yamaha Artist Magdalena Baczewska [ba-CHEV-ska] is a concert pianist, harpsichordist, educator, and speaker.
Her work encompasses repertoire ranging from chill hop to pre-Baroque music, which she performs on historical instruments. Hailed by The Washington Post as “eloquent and technically flawless,”Magdalena has appeared on stage internationally as a soloist, as well as a collaborator of the Oscar and Grammy Award-winning composer Tan Dun, among others. Magdalena is a member of Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Columbia University, where she divides her time between teaching and directing the Music Performance Program.
