Multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Dan Rico picked up the bass at age 12 and has never looked back. Amidst playing in dozens of hard rock bands (Ego, MAMA, High Waisted, Jean Luc Swift, The Rubs, Caw!
Caw!, Purple Pain, Wet Key) and touring throughout the US and the world he has released several solo EP's and Albums, with the newest "Slow Real" available this Spring. Dan grew up listening to "golden oldies" in his home town of Chicago and the music of acts like Elvis, the Beatles, and the Rolling Stones have left a permanent mark on his output to this day. His music, self proclaimed "Basement Pop" has been endeared as an eclectic, but vibrant and accessible blend of power-pop and electro-hard rock.
