Holly Zell was born and raised on the white sand beaches of Southern California. She has an MA from UCLA in Vocal Performance and is a professionally trained opera singer.
Being a prolific songwriter for years, she has recently released her second solo album Cool Dreams, a follow-up to her last album Butter and Chocolate. Holly has worked with several great songwriters such as Kevin Fisher, who has written for Sara Evans, Rascal Flats, and Uncle Kracker. Holly's music is a combination of Progressive Rock and World Music that incorporates elements of Jazz and folk. Her music is often compared to other artists such as Adele, Annie Lennox, Norah Jones, Sting and Elton John. Holly can sing in several languages including Spanish, French, German, Italian and English. Her voice is haunting, sexy, and sweet.
