The Forever Now
Singles and EPs
The Forever Now is the solo project of Monty de Luna with frequent collaborator Lauren Austin among others. Started in 2011 as “W I N C H E S T E R” from Winchester St. in Toronto, the duo carved out a repertoire of cinematic indie synth-rock music with their debut EP “If Time is Not Linear, Why Can’t I Forget the Past”. After relocating to Denmark, Monty is back on his own with Lauren as a frequent collaborator, bringing a new collection of singles titled “Terrible Legacy” that take on a darker and more sinister tone than previous work. “Incredibly beautiful. It is part cinematic, part cosmic, part operatic, and completely dazzling. The production work is sublime […] Simply spectacular.” - The Revue “It’s easier to aim for epic than to get there but “I’m Not Ready to Go Yet” makes the journey and, to my ears, comes out the other side.” - Fingertips Music “a contender for ‘The Summer Hit of 2017.’ ” -Indie Obsessive “Flawed images of your past self, past loves, and the unknown that the future brings, simultaneously breathes around you as you reach the cosmos where the beauty that awaits you is enough to bring you to tears” - Oh Es Tee For fans of artists such as: Oh Wonder, The xx, Låpsley, The Naked And Famous, M83, Purity Ring, Stars, Metric, AURORA, RY X, Kiasmos, Space Above, So Below, London Grammar, Broods, HÆLOS, Aquilo, The Japanese House, CHINAH, and School of X.
