Canada's premier DJ , producer & radio host, Montreal-based MC Mario raised to mainstream fame via his remix compilations and syndicated radio programs from USA to Greece to Brazil just to name a few.
Quebec-born Mario Tremblay worked under the alias MC Mario Mastermind, signing to Quality Music for a series of compilations including 1993's Back to Basics and 1995's King Size, both of which achieved platinum status. After a brief stint with Polygram, MC Mario signed to Sony in 1997 and generated a series of best-sellers including Mixdown 99, 2001's MC Mario.com, 2005's Sun Factory and more. In 2000, MC Mario earned a Juno Award nomination for "All That I Like"; same year he leaped over into mainstream radio with his weekly series The TOP10 Mixdown and The House Party on Virgin Radio and was named a member of the Canadian Dance Hall of Fame. MC Mario founded his own label, Tycoon Records in conjunction with Universal Music Canada and sold over 3.5 MILLION albums in Canada .
MC Mario is also owner of Montreal's Club Le Cinq, former Club 1234.
The legendary DJ is to this date the only DJ to have won the Stanley Cup performing all games for the Montreal Canadians in 1992 & 1993.
