Ximetria first hit the local scene in 2006, playing ’80s & ’90s rock covers. In 2010, they released their first original studio album “Essential Innocence”, establishing their local presence and getting consistent radio airplay. A year later, the band releases its first music video for “It’s A Wild Ride” and makes it to MTV Argentina. Their second music video, “Always Trying One More Time” is featured on VH1 Latin America’s “Best of Alternative”, bringing new audiences from all South America.
In 2013, Ximetria releases a Spanish-adapted EP from its first album, co-written with producer-composer Alejandro Montalban. The band's second studio album, "Outliers", is released in November 2015.
Ximetria was one of the 20 bands representing Argentina at the Hard Rock Rising Buenos Aires 2012. They also performed at the Cargo club in London as part of the Youbloom international song contest, and have had multiple song placements on Latin American TV shows.
The band is currently working on a number of singles while Alejandro starts his LA-based production project, “Stolen Signals”.
