Welcome the Slowness. Always Remember the Course of the Growth
"There is life in Seward’s music, a humanity that most bands find near-impossible to weave into their music.
There are many bands who approach music like Seward do. They are all, without exception, shit. They are all indulgent, self-centred, and unkind to their audience. Seward are the exact opposite: their timing is perfect, their noises are specific and considered, and their purpose may not be defined, but it is rational. The band is lost in the beauty of noise-making, and the path it beats into human consciousness” [Joe Sparrow, A New Band A Day - Hype Machine]"People write manifestos proclaiming themselves as alternative visionaries, but achieve nothing close to the unpredictable, eccentrically cohesive whole that Seward whip up, which contains as much for the informed insider as it does the engrossed newbie" [Line Of Best Fit]

The free-song collective Seward remains completely alive after 9 years of constant movement onwards. Traditional percussion and experimental broken drums, a distorted banjo with effects, a voice with many characters, electric guitars, manipulated speeches and samplers, horns of all types played through pedals… Seward consists of members from Venezuela, Argentina, Catalunya and Spain. A Seward show changes everyday and can take place anytime in any place. Uncut Magazine defined Seward as “combustible avant-folk anarchy”. Seward has released 3 records from their ongoing project HOME and a 4th named WE PREFER TO with Foehn, Gandula and Bacana.
