Driven by DellaValle’s thought-provoking lyrics and baritone voice, Of The Valley is luscious and imaginative, forming soundscapes of wide-open spaces and a pulse of forward motion.
Of The Valley is Canadian, Brian Della Valle, a neuroscientist and musician. Brian is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and released his self-titled debut Of The Valley album coming off a successful European tour supporting fellow Canadian, Bahamas. In "Of The Valley", DellaValle's luscious baritone and evocative wordsmithing grounds the musical frame (see Quiet and Curious), and he soars large and atmospheric with his rustic falsetto (See Italy & Ride Alone). Reviews point to fragments of Bon Iver, The National, and Leonard Cohen running through Of The Valley's sound. On stage with his band, DellaValle shifts from calm and focused to emotional and explosive at the drop of a dime.
