Evo's parents worked so much that his grandma from Croatia came to the States to raise him. He began working at the age of 14 after he read a letter from the bank stating his family was losing their house. He became no stranger to bad news.
Evo’s parents were afraid of his passion for music, which is why they took his education seriously. Although he graduated from the University of California: Santa Cruz with a degree in Anthropology, he still knew where his heart was. Immediately after graduating, he locked himself in his basement and produced his first album “Flooded Basement”, which he later released in 2016.
Later in 2018 Evo was arrested for allegedly "money laundering," which allowed him to abandon his dark past. After beating his case, Evo began to rethink his life decisions and later released his third studio album "Stressed & Ambitious." The self taught rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer has expressed his dark outlook on life through his songs. He only wants to achieve one thing through his music - happiness.
