The name of the band comes from those letters that could not be delivered to the recipient or returned to the person who sent them. It is the only case in which postmen were allowed to open the envelope to see its contents.
In life we often find Dead Letters not even written on paper. The things that we never say, the hate that we silence, the blood that we do not shed, everything that can go through us whose recipient is no longer with us and we want that letter out to them with no return. That part we want to kill with that dead letter to be born again.
Maybe that person passed. Perhaps it is no longer the same person you would like to say those things to. Maybe it never existed. Or maybe that person won't listen to what we have to say, even though we know it's useless to try.<br>
