Melody Pool

An Australian singer and songwriter whose songs are in the melodic pop-folk confessional vein of California songwriters Joni Mitchell and Jackson Browne, Melody Pool was raised in Kurri Kurri, New South Wales. She crowd-funded her independently released debut album, The Hurting Scene, which was recorded in Nashville with producers Jace Everett and Brad Jones. The album garnered critical acclaim, and Pool consequently signed with Mushroom Music Publishing and Liberation Music, which re-released The Hurting Scene in July of 2013. ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi
