They’ve spent the last 4 years living in the same house together in Asbury Park. In those 4 years, Deal Casino has been paying their dues and coming into their own as a band. They started playing show after show in Asbury--at one point having 3 residencies at different venues simultaneously. Meanwhile, they had been playing, writing and recording in a local basement studio. The studio grew, and moved to a bigger, more state-of-the-art facility, and the band helped build it from the ground up-painting, wiring, and ripping up floorboards. Foregoing sleep and sanity, they recorded 3 EP’s at the same time-Heck (2014), Nika (2015), and Human Cannonball (2016), all leading up to the release of their 2017 self-titled LP. In December 2017, they released the Calidus EP, a mini-collection of live and acoustic tracks.
In 2018, the band retreated to North Carolina with Erik Kase Romero of the Front Bottoms, recording a collection of songs that would become the Isadora Duncan EP and their second full length, LLC.
