Mischa Renee is a singer/songwriter born in Long Beach California and raised mostly on Guam and in the Philippines.
Having a father from Texas and a mother from the Philippines, she grew up listening to mostly country, classic rock, pop and reggae. She began writing songs at the age of 7 and playing the guitar and ukulele at 10. At the young age of 13, she began performing for small audiences and for live television in the Philippines at 16. She landed a scholarship into The West Visayas State University in the Philippines, majoring in broadcasting but still finding time to pursue her love and passion for music by writing songs and singing for college events. She landed first prize, 4 years in a row for the WVSU College of Mass Communications song writing competition and from there began writing music for plays and for tv.
