Los Angeles-based vocalist Frankie (born Frankie Miller) specializes in exuberant, dance-oriented pop.
Raised in Oakland, California, Miller began singing when she was three years old and by age ten had taught herself to play guitar and piano. Although she started writing songs in her teens, Miller briefly studied psychology and theater in college before deciding to pursue a music career. Drawing upon the influence of classic pop artists like Stevie Nicks, Joni Mitchell, and ABBA, as well as '90s artists of her youth like the Spice Girls, she released her debut EP, Dreamstate, in 2015. A pair of high energy singles, "Problems Problems" and "Paper Doll," followed in 2017. ~ Matt Collar, Rovi
