Stuttgart-based roots rock trio Pale Heart is leaning toward a different sound in 2021. Brothers Marc (vocals, guitar) and Nico Bauer (keyboards) have played together since they were kids, releasing several albums as White Daze which eventually renamed to Pale Heart in 2017. Their debut album "Jungleland" (2018) combined Blues, Rock, Soul, Prog and a certain sense for psychedelic cascades, never too heavy and still deep, never too simple and still catchy. “White Daze paved the way, Pale Heart gives us the strength to walk it." In 2018 long-time drummer Sebastian Neumeier left the band due to personal reasons. With Marvin Schaber a worthy successor was found behind the drums. “The name Pale Heart is a metaphor for that narcissistic, egoistic and greedy part of our society. Music, however, brings people together, unearths emotions. Quite contrary to the name, it stands for a fulfilled heart.” The trio has found an authentic sound for their studio and live performances made up of original instruments such as Hammond, Moog Bass and Rhodes. Pale Heart played about 100 concerts and shared the stage with acts like Michael Kiwanuka, Keb’Mo, DeWolff, the Brew & Joanne Shaw Taylor.
