Blending elements of garage psych, space rock, noise pop, and stoner doom, Columbus Ohio's Pale Grey Lore create heavy, fuzzed-out rock and roll that is sludgy and psychedelic, yet focused and hook-driven.
Melodic vocals and subtle harmonies echo alongside thunderous drums and molten bass, while fuzz-drenched reverberating guitars push demon-haunted amplifiers to the brink. Pale Grey Lore’s self-titled debut album was originally self-released on limited-run CD and digital download in June of 2016 and was ranked #13 on legendary heavy music blog TheObelisk.net’s Top 20 Debut Albums of 2016. It was released on vinyl LP December 1st 2017 via Oak Island Records, an imprint of German label Kozmik Artifactz. Building on the momentum of the vinyl release, Pale Grey Lore began playing more live shows throughout Ohio and the surrounding states, landing spots on several heavy music festivals including the Chicago Doomed & Stoned Fest and the Maryland Doom Fest. They have been invited to open for bands like Pelican, Monolord, and Le Butcherettes, and are currently working on their second album, which is slated for release in mid-2019.
