Brennan Savage makes bleary, confessional rap which draws equally from emo and trap. Often collaborating with producers and rappers associated with GothBoiClique, he's released numerous self-issued EPs and albums, including 2019's Tragedy.
Savage was born in Long Beach, New York in 1996. He grew up in San Diego, California and moved to Los Angeles with his childhood friend, Lil Peep, when he was 18. He started releasing music in 2016; an EP titled Savage appeared in March, followed later in the year by Gone for Good and Alive. 2017 single "Look at Me Now," produced by GothBoiClique's Horse Head, became an online hit, and preceded the release of Savage's debut album, Badlands. Two EPs produced by Fish Narc, Garbage and Drowning, both appeared in 2018. Second album Tragedy was released in 2019. ~ Paul Simpson, Rovi
