Francie Moon is a garage rock psych trio from northern New Jersey. Initially created by Melissa Lucciola in 2013, she traveled the country for 2 years as Francie Moon from bar to coffeeshop, basement and whatever venue possible all while releasing multiple EP's in order to get her music out there, see something new, and pave a way for others.
Now when home she is joined by Richie Samartin on drums and Adam Pumilia on bass and they have been playing together since 2015. Since then they have released an American Songwriter backed EP in 2016, released their first full length in 2017 and headlined their first festival in 2018. In February 2019 they released a 7" vinyl called "New Morning Light" on Keeper Records. They have a really energetic and eclectic live performance that can take you from an all out punk sludge song to a beautiful instrumental featuring a singing saw, depending how long they play. Lucciola is described as having, "...a unique voice with really great guitar chops" (YDKJ) who "bleeds and sweats the music she makes...[and] possesses a voice and a delivery that makes you feel like you're listening to a revered singer from a by-gone era" (Cool Dad Music). They have shared the stage with The Screaming Females, Emily Wells, Travis Stever (Coheed & Cambria), Chappo, Summer Cannibals and many more.
