Sam McCullough (Dorf) is a former professional footballer - who up until May of 2016 had never written a full song, much less even played a live gig.
After spending time in Ireland, England, and the Middle East chasing a career as a pro footballer, Sam came back to the States, picked up a guitar and began writing music. Heavily influenced by bands like Bring Me The Horizon and Architects as well as bands like the Ramones and Rise Against, he was initially involved with a few hardcore/metalcore projects in his hometown of Milwaukee, WI. Finding more traction and freedom to write as a solo artist, Sam, equally passionate about music from the Northwest of England like Oasis, Liam Gallagher, Courteeners and Blossoms, began writing songs that brought both spectrums together. His refreshing take on Rock & Roll is unique and has an edge that will leave fans of heavy music, punk, and traditional Rock & Roll alike all wanting more.
