French - Uruguayan, grew up and trained in France. He is self-taught on double bass. He became known as sideman of Ritary Gaguenetti, Marion Roch or Fayçal Salhi, traveling the world as a musician since 2002. In 20 years, Vladimir has collaborated as a bass player, double bass player, composer or arranger on nearly forty albums. He records for the artists with whom he performs on stage, or as a studio musician, in very different musical styles. (Pop, Salsa, Jazz, Song.) In 2020, he presented his album "INICIAL", forged in his trio animated by a strong musical bond, enriched by the presence of Christophe Panzani on saxophones and Damien Groleau on flutes. His music is Jazz, which has its roots as much as in Latin America and the Middle East, all tinged with urban rhythms. Vladimir thinks that in his music he is as much influenced by Claude Debussy, Pat Metheny, Petros Klampanis, Bill Evans, as by the musicians with whom he shares the stage. INICIAL is inspired by all that life has of beautiful or difficult. It's kind of the soundtrack of his existence. A singular musical universe where Jazz, Pop, Latin or Middle Eastern music will mix. Dark and bright at the same time "The project brings modern music, far from barriers and labels." "An album with very inspired music." ALL GIGS ANNOUNCED ON : WWW.VLADIMIRTORRES.COM
