Dandelyin grew up in Southwestern Connecticut, just 50 minutes outside of New York City, however her sights were never set on being a singer/songwriter in the Big Apple.
Instead, she found her inspiration through traveling medieval cities in Europe, dark art/poetry and 90s alternative music. Her first EP Gold-Plated was recorded at Factory Underground Studio in Norwalk, CT. The title song on the EP was inspired by the ugly side of growing in a “Stepford” kind of town, whereas the rest of the EP pays homage to loves-lost.
Not only does she spend her time writing and producing music, but she finds solace in creating pieces for her jewelry line Dandelyin Roots, available on her Etsy store.
