A widely respected and veteran presence in the gospel and CCM arena, Da'dra Crawford Greathouse first rose to popularity in the early '90s alongside her brother Steve Crawford as co-leaders of the group Anointed.
Emerging out of Columbus, Ohio while still in their teens, Anointed's rich vocals and uplifting R&B-influenced sound propelled them to mainstream success, several Grammy nominations, and numerous Dove Awards. Anointed continued to record until 2005, releasing music for Word and Sony Records. In 2006, Da'dra and her brother relocated from Nashville to Houston, Texas to join the worship staff at Lakewood Church. Over the next decade she and Steve immersed themselves in the church and its music, leading worship with fellow singers Israel Houghton and Cindy Cruse-Ratcliff. In 2012, Anointed resumed their recording career, delivering a pair of singles. Although Da'dra's efforts as a singer and songwriter had long been celebrated as part of Anointed, she finally made her debut as a solo artist with 2017's All of Me. ~ Timothy Monger, Rovi
