They were unaware at the time, but the members of The Cosmic Coronas were on an inevitable collision course towards creating the ultimate rock experience with tasty bits of soul, punk, folk and funk.
Their desire to ignite the cosmic connection of music between us all launched them rapidly from casual jams to headlining respected venues around NYC; including Mercury Lounge, The Cutting Room and Webster Hall. The brilliance began when co-workers and friends: Brad Widolok, Noah Nielsen and Kevin Gayson would go to NYC's Euphoria Studios after work with their guitars to jam and be creative. Eventually they invited Kevin's college friends and trained musicians, Dan Raiani on bass and Nick Brucaliere on drums into their casual sessions to form a proper rhythm section. The band began to take shape and as their jams reached new heights, they realized they needed just one more ingredient to bring their sound together: powerful vocals! Soulful vocalist Alexa Lindberg, childhood friend of Nick and Dan was recruited. Her mighty vocals brought a new life and emotion into the music. The Cosmic Coronas were born. In 2016, The Cosmic Coronas released their debut self-titled EP which grabbed a quick buzz around NYC area. In 2017, with help of 3X Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Clauss (U2, Shakira, Marin Morris, Paul Simon) they released their second EP, “The Grove,” at Dreamland Studios in Woodstock, NY. They've spent most the year touring the Northeast in support of the record.
