Noa ,also known as Achinoam Nini, is Israel’s most successful international singer/songwriter/recording artist/performer.
She was born in Israel to a family of Yemenite decent, lived in the US from age 2-17 and now lives in Israel with her husband Asher Barak and their three children. Noa writes primarily in English but sings in 5 different languages ,including Hebrew, Yemenite, Neapolitan, Italian, French and Spanish. Together with her musical director and collaborator Gil Dor, she released 15 albums which have sold millions of copies the world over and performed in 50 countries, in venues such as the White House, the Coliseum, Carnegie Hall and the Vatican. She plays percussion, guitar and piano. Noa has worked with music legends such as Pat Metheny, Quincy Jones, Sting, Stevie Wonder, Joan Manuel Serrat, Joaquin Sabin, Charles Aznavour, Nicola Piovanni, Andrea Bocelli and many more. She also dedicates much of her time and energy to social causes, especially work for Peace between Israelis and Palestinians. She has received many awards for her musical and humanitarian work.
