should try to write to one of his beats and realized he had a lot of potential so he
continued to write music.
Young Scratt, born Darien Lemar Hamilton, was born on February 13, in
Cleveland, OH. He began rapping when he was 16 years of age. After listening to
T.I.’s first album & one of Ludacris’s albums, he developed his own style and
brought a new “swagger” to the underground. When he first started rapping, he
went by the name of “Young Scrapp,” but had to do a name change due to
copyrights, and came up with Young Scratt.
Shortly after graduating from Cleveland Heights High School King Kollision attended the
Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio in 2004 and obtained a Music Engineer Certificate. King
Kollision is also Owner/CEO of L.O.E and definitely has this music business all the way down.
When Young Scratt first started rapping, he went by the name of “Young Scrapp,” but had to do a

grow and evolve lyrically; and started to do what he likes to call “hit making” or “making a banger”. Over
