Bun' Ber E was a strange bunch of lads and a lass from Brisbane Australia who loved traditional Celtic music but couldn't claim any authenticity in playing it.
Instead, they bent the traditions to their own assortment of influences: classical, jazz, blues, disco and funk ...
After playing their first gig at the Queensland Irish Association on ANZAC Day 1997, Bun' Ber E knew they were onto something special ... the crowds told them so.
Teaming up with a Celtic dance school and adding a full pipe band gave Bun' Ber E's shows an extra wow factor. A stint as the official Queensland Fire and Rescue Authority Pipe Band added weight to their work.
After 11 years, Bun' Ber E played their last gig and hung up their kilts in 2008.
