She decided to start playing guitar at the age of 13, and began writing her own songs shortly after that. She started booking gigs at local restaurants when she was 15 and used the money she earned to go to songwriting camp at Interlochen in Michigan, where she spent some of the best two weeks of her life so far. This motivated her to finally record some of her music. After being approached by Berklee grad and music producer Matt Troja, she recorded six of her songs with him to create her EP, Dear Anonymous.
Dear Anonymous is a collection of songs Olivia wrote between the ages of 13 and 17. She doesn’t want to name the specific people the songs were written about, so instead she addresses them to anonymous. She also addresses the album to the anonymous listeners she may draw in the future that she hasn’t met yet. Olivia is super excited to finally share these songs.
