Andy Zamenes is a multiple award-winning singer/songwriter, recording artist, producer, and audio playwright from the San Francisco Bay Area.
He is most recognized as "Andy Z", children's performer & recording artist who combines music, movement and storytelling to create an experience that keeps kids engaged and families entertained. The music of "Andy Z" has been heard on NBC's Today Show and his music and performances have been featured in the Pandora Video Series and on the Pottery Barn Kids Stylehouse website. Notable performances include performing with his band at the renowned Austin City Limits Festival in Texas, Facebook presents Scare On The Square in Northern California, and Strings Music Festival in Colorado.His 7th studio release, Camp Andyland (2018) has received 5 national awards, including: Parent's Choice Recommended, National Parenting Publications Awards (NAPPA), Tillywig Top Fun Award, Creative Child Magazine CD of the Year, and KIDS FIRST Coalition Endorsed.Andy's personal musical experience which has taken him through San Francisco State University's classical and jazz music programs as well as the SF Bay Area club scene as a solo performer and founding member of the alternative rock band Tinman, has given him this ability to write and well in different genres.
