Rihards Lībietis is a guitar player from Latvia, blending acoustic fingerstyle, blues and chill-out music in one whole listening adventure.
Currently working mainly with bands Rihards Libietis Orchestra, Pacific K and Midnight Dave n' The Cockroaches, and collaborating with various artists, like Linda Leen, Kristīne Prauliņa, Anneli Arro and others.<br><br>Rihards Libietis started playing music in 2007, changing his passion from rock climbing to hard-rock guitar. First solo concerts with original music began in 2010, while from 2011 - 2015 guitarist worked with Bite's Blues band, learning and performing Blues music regularly together with various guest artists, such as Innes Sibun (UK), Dave Goodman (CAN/DE) among others. <br><br>2015 saw the release of the first two original music albums - RL Elektronix, which is strongly based in post-rock roots, and where Rihards arranged and performed every instrument on the record, and Scream, Breathe, Cry, which was nominated for Latvian Annual Music Awards, and features a wide range instrumental music. <br><br>In 2017 musician saw another new releases - an instrumental Latvian popular music cover album "Seasons.Spring.Guitar" and a live recording of Rihards Libietis Orchestra "Live in concert", among appearing on albums by Pacific K, and RYGA.<br><br>Currently working on a new EP release called "Reflections", which is due to come out in early Fall 2018. <br><br>Rihards also writes music for theatre plays and short movies.<br>
