Musical polymath Barnaby Keen's single "Lay Our Cards” is to be his first release on South London label Plum Cuts.
Produced in collaboration with Oli Barton-Wood (Nilufer Yanya, Mellah), it marks a departure from his regular groups Electric Jalaba (STRUT Records), Flying Ibex and acclaimed collaboration with Portugese artist Benjamin, showing a softer more considered side to his songwriting with laid back grooves and contemplative lyrics. Being born out of the same musical sphere that has produced talents Kae Tempest, Yusef Dayes and Mellah, Barnaby will certainly follow closely in their wake.
