Max Burstyn is a musician from North London studying his Master’s degree in composition at the Royal Academy of Music.
His musical life is split into five parts: composing, producing, programming, performing, and teaching. His academic compositions take influence from late romantic music, experimental electronic music, and scientific subjects such as physics, chemistry, and biology. He is also influenced by ideas relating to consciousness, spirituality, and psychology.
His debut EP, Komorebi, is a blend of glitchy electronics, late-romantic inspired harmonies, and Middle-Eastern and Far-East Asian influences, tied together with trip-hop beats and instrumentals.
