Described by Spill Magazine as 'perhaps the greatest undiscovered talent today', Henry Bateman’s music falls somewhere between the worlds of ambient, progressive rock and folk musics; somewhere between Peter Gabriel, Neil Finn and James Taylor, with a virtuoso acoustic guitar style reminiscent of the likes of Nick Drake and Michael Hedges. He’s doing his own thing; at the age of just 24, he's already releasing his fourth studio album later in 2021. Introducing this new era of Bateman's music is the song 'Seinfeld Street'. MNPR Magazine said: 'By trading-in his muted acoustic guitar sound in favour of distortion, Seinfeld Street drives headlong into the realms of American rock. Instead of his typically controlled finger-style guitar technique, his emotive release mechanism is with power chords and liberating guitar solos trailed along a charging backbeat'.
