    Don't Falter - Lauren Laverne
Originally discovered and championed by Fatboy Slim, who helped get their debut single released back in 1997 on Skint Records, Mint Royale always stoically promised to keep dance music fun and exciting.
Having earlier remixed Kenickie, Mint Royale personally invited Lauren Laverne to help them craft their first hit single and huge indie anthem, 'Don’t Falter', whilst their remix of Terrorvision’s 'Tequila' gave the Yorkshire Pop-Rockers their chart topping biggest hit. Prince Buster’s legendary appearance on 'Sexiest Man In Jamaica' found endorsements from all corners of the musical spectrum and unlikely pairings with De La Soul on 'Show Me' and Damien Jurado on the tranquil 'Dancehall Places' proved Mint Royale’s ability to blend the delicate and the experimental whilst still creating their beautiful brand of dance pop.
It was however Mint Royale’s reworking of Gene Kelly’s 'Singin’ In The Rain' that cemented their chart credentials, starting life soundtracking the award winning body-popping VW Golf advert, then later helping George Sampson achieve fame on Britain’s Got Talent and finally going on to be a UK number 1 single.
But all good parties must come to an end, and following an epic collaboration with actor Willem Dafoe on 'Ring', Mint Royale finally bowed out with 'Time' in 2016.
