Background: Juro was born in the Bronx. He grew up in many various neighborhoods of NYC. His stage name Juro derives from the word judo which comes from "jujitsu" as it involves using holds and leverage to unbalance the opponent without the use of lethal force. Lyrically inspired by 2Pac, Big Pun, and Eminem, at the age of 11 Juro began writing rhymes. At the age of 16 he began recording music. Juro fell in love with sound since birth and grew up listening to various types of music like Merengue & Bachata, Salsa, House, Techno, Hip Hop and RandB, Reggae, Playero, Rock etc. Juro loves to dance and is very familiar to the dance floor. Being raised by a Dominican family, it was only natural for Juro to desire to go out and party every weekend. Juro has always been into the arts. As a child he would draw what he observed around him penciling in every shade. Now as an adult, he paints pictures with his thoughts and illustrates it with word play. Juro believes his flow is a mixture of all his musical influences throughout his life. Juro's forte is his lyricism and his remarkable flow.
