Massively energised by the reaction to Yumeno Garden and keen to keep the ball rolling, the band returned to Australia for a huge performance at Splendour In The Grass and then jumped straight into the studio!
New single, ‘FMU’ is the lead track to come out of these sessions. It’s an upbeat track with a serious theme. Last Dinosaurs’ Sean Caskey explains – “FMU is about a hypothetical conversation between Hong Kong and China about their relationship. It was initially about a break-up but the recent news about the Hong Kong riots inspired me to write for the Hong Kong people. Their situation is seemingly helpless, and I feel for them. I admire their fighting spirit and this song is supposed to be in support of them.
With sold out shows in Mexico & SE Asia, festival plays around the world, UK/ Europe tour set for December and South America early 2020, the future in looking bright for the Last Dinosaurs.
