In late January 2019 she released her first single in Norwegian, “Slave”. With lyrics about growing up in a world facing climate and political problems, and the irony of everybody being more interested in social media standing than dealing with real problems. Some months later she followed up with her second single “Look At Me Now”. A tune where she got to show another side herself -- including her Cuban heritage and Spanish rhythms. The song is about having the courage to be yourself and do your own thing.
- I often meet people who has a lot of opinions on how I should act and what I do. I think a lot of women can relate to this. I am tired of people putting a label on others because of how they dress or how they talk. “Look At Me Now” goes out to all my sisters who are experiencing this every day.
