Brothers Ben and Toby Jordan are from Leigh on Sea in Essex. Ben started learning guitar at aged 7 ( in 2009) in France where they both grew up.
They moved back to UK in 2010 and continued with their musical interests. In 2014 they joined a Rock School. Ben started a band called The Salvoes and Toby joined shortly after. Another two members joined but they left 6 months later.
In 2015 ‘baVard’ was created which means ‘chatty’ in French and is what they are! The ‘V’ represents uniting them as brothers in music.
They work together as a duo now songwriting and performing. In 2015 they wrote their first songs ‘One Life’ and ‘Believe’ then came 'Our Days, 'Thinking', 'Starlight Love', ‘50 Times’, 'Try Hard', ‘Cutting In', ' Those Days’, 'Just for Me, 'Sea Surf Sand' and 'Make a Difference'. They've just finished working on 'Elevate My Soul', 'Hometown' and most recently 'Young and Restless' with Chris Bourne & Rob Humm. They've had an amazing opportunity to work with Holloway Road on ‘Those Days ’ and recorded and mixed their first EP ‘Noir’ at 'The Banger Hanger' which released on 28th Sept 2017.
